Connections - Language Note:

Root Words - in Spanish, the names of many stores are based on root words that suggest what can be found there. For example:

La frutería, la panadería, la floristería, and la carnicería are words that are rooted in the items

they offer (fruta, pan, flor, carne). Ask the students if they know of any store names in English that

begin in a way that lets us know what can be found there. (Like bakery)

1. From  the text book, we are in Ch. 3: Pueblos y Ciudades.
     Objectives:
     a. Ask for and give information.
     b. Talk about where someone went and what
         he or she did.
     c. Ask for and give directions.
     d. Ask for clarification.

2. You will use:
   a. Impersonal "se" and passive "se".
   b. Preterite of -car, -gar, -zar verbs and conocer.
   c. Irregular preterites: andar, venir, tener, dar
       and ver.
   d. Irregular formal commands.
   e. Commands with pronouns and informal commands.

You will learn to ask for information:

Agenda:

1. Hacer el bell work. Ve al tap del bell work y busca el significado de las palabras que estan en la parte de arriba. Luego llenaras con estas palabras el formulario que la maestra te proporcionará.

2. Ve a actividades y lee la actividad que tenemos para hoy. La maestra te dará el formulario para que trabajes en el.


 

3. Copiaremos el vocabulario del capítulo 3. La maestra lo pondrá en español en Power Point y tu buscaras el significado en Inglés para estudiarlo.

4. Ahora copia la lección que está en el board blanco (white board).
